The 2022 Nissan Rogue offers a sporty design and performance at an attainable price point, making it a great choice for those looking for style and practicality without breaking the bank. As we live in an era with safety being paramount on most buyers’ minds, motorheads and young families alike can rest assured as the 2022 Rogue brought home the IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus, which is the highest accolade of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The Rogue’s redesigned interior and its state-of-the-art turbocharged powertrain has catapulted this crossover into the new generation of small SUVs. Still haunted by troubling transmission issues of the past, Nissan states these issues have been addressed in the new generation. Overall, the Nissan Rogue is a great value pick that is safe and efficient and offers a great solution to a young family’s vehicle needs. Rating out of 5 stars: Eric’s rating 3.5 / 5 stars

You don’t have to pay more for extra safety. - Spacious and well-designed interior with plenty of space for passengers and cargo. - The Rogue's 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine provides great fuel-efficiency - Offers several extra features, such as a digital dashboard display, a Bose audio system, and a panoramic moonroof, which can provide a more luxurious driving experience Is it comfortable? One of the first things drivers will notice when they hop in the driver's seat is this is a truly comfortable vehicle with a driver-friendly instrument layout. In its place, they have introduced a turbocharged three-cylinder power plant which gives this crossover a peppy and responsive drive feel. Is it good value for money? As far as value for money is concerned, it is as front of the pack as you can get into a base model for under $30,000 and the upgraded AWD base model for $31,298. Is it reliable? The redesigned Rogue includes an overhauled CVT (continuously variable) transmission to improve reliability, performance and fuel mileage. Having scored 82/100 on the JD Power Expected Reliability rating, the Rogue is considered to be in the upper echelon of the class. Is it safe? The 2022 Nissan Rogue received the highest safety ratings possible thanks to several standard safety features, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, and blind-spot warning. There are also optional safety features such as adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, and a surround-view camera system. How does it perform against its next peer/category leader?
